Francisco Lachowski for H&M

I've written on a previous post that Francisco Lachowski is the person who I wish to be/look like. Well anyways, I was looking at H&M's men's fall/winter collection on their website and surprisingly, I happen to see Francisco on the men's page. It's nice to see my idol campaigning for H&M:)
Now on to the collection:
I would describe the fall/winter collection of H&M as being 'Simple and Fashionable'. The green corduroy shirt is surely a must have in your collection this coming winter. And don't forget chinos. Chinos, in my opinion, are more appealing than just wearing plain old denim jeans and pants. Chinos are a very versatile piece of clothing and plus they're so popular nowadays. They also look good with just about anything. I myself prefer to wear chinos with boots and a simple shirt or t-shirt. What do you guys think? H&M's fall/winter collection is truly something that everyone should check out.

Hollister or Abercrombie

I know that Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is the parent company of Hollister, but I just feel like their designs are way too alike. I like both brands but I just wish they had more difference and variety. Take a look at some of the similar looks I found on each of their websites. Which one do you like better? FYI: Everything on the left column is from Abercrombie and everything on the right column is from Hollister:)

Texas Summer Days

Summer here in Texas is extremely HOT! I literally feel like I'm inside an oven when I step outside my house.  But despite the horrific temperatures outside, I still try to go outside because I easily get bored at home. So in order to counter the Texas heat, I'd put up an outfit of what I would usually wear whenever I go outside. Enjoy:)

Accessories

Anyone can put together a nice shirt and pants, but its that bracelet, that necklace and that pair of sunglasses that makes an outfit even more better. Here are just some men's accessories I found on the GUESS, Tommy Hilfiger and Yesstyle website. Enjoy:)

Luxury Suits

Soon, in about 2 more years of college, I will be taking part in a professional business meeting. I am a marketing major so I know dressing up nicely for these events is an important thing. And that's why we have suits:) I own three suits which I alternate between each school presentations, weddings and formal parties I have to attend to. One of my suit is a Sean John suit while the other two are off brand suits that I have no clue about. I wish to invest in more suits in the future but when I do, I want to invest in luxury suits. I know that they're crazy expensive and you might think I'm crazy, but that's how I feel when my mom and girl friends are spending hundreds and even thousands on a bag:) Anyways, here are just a few suits I found on the Burberry and Gucci websites. Enjoy:)

Following my dream

After reading an article online (19 Reasons To Ignore Everybody And Follow Your Dreams), I've been more inspired to work harder to achieve my goals and dreams in life. In the past,  I was a doormat letting everyone step on me and control my life. That old me is gone! I've become a stronger person now and I will no longer let anyone tell me what I can and can't do.They have no right to tell me what to do with my life because this is my life and I will choose to live it the way I want to live.

I've never really told anyone that I want to be in the fashion industry because I know that I would be made fun of and laughed at. In the past, I have hinted about me wanting to be part of the fashion world, but all they've said was "you've just lost your men card". Even the ones that I have loved laughed at my idea. I was hurt by their jokes and laughs, but their criticism made me even stronger. I love the saying, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". They can say whatever they want to say about me because at least I know that I am living the life that I want to live. I want to prove those who have mocked me and laughed at me in the past that they're wrong. If you have a dream you want to achieve in life, don't let anyone and yourself keep you from accomplishing your goals. Start working to achieve your goals now. You’ll regret it later in life if you don't follow your dreams, and if you’re delaying it, you’ll question yourself why you didn't do it sooner. You can achieve anything in life. Just believe in yourself and don't be lazy:)

Michael Phelps for Louis Vuitton

Phelps, the most colorful Olympian ever, could be stripped off some of his medals or even be fined for a Louis Vuitton campaign ad that was leaked on the internet, which he was featured in. It's a stupid policy made by the IOC that basically prohibits athletes from promoting any non-Olympic sponsors from July 18 to August 15. In my opinion, I think that this policy is DUMB. Even if this ad came out during that time, why does it matter? Phelps worked hard and earned those medals. He doesn't deserve to be punished because first of all, the ad was leaked! What do you think?

Same Shoes

I own 3 pairs of the same shoe from H&M but they have different styles. Well, maybe just the colors are different but one of them is actually made out of a different material. The first photo is the one that's made out of a different material. Enjoy:)

Why would you buy the same shoe, you ask? Well it was on sale. Like I said in one of my previous blog posts, I like to buy most of my clothes on sale. If you're curious about how much I spent all together for these 3 shoes, I can tell you now that I spent less than $100. In total, I only spent roughly more than $60 with tax included. Great buy, right!

Trench coats

I know that winter is still a long way away, but I've been looking for a trench coat to buy now cuz when its winter, the prices go up.

Asian Fashion

I've always been quite impressed with Asian fashion, mainly Korean fashion. I find them to be really unique and fun. Here are just a few pictures I found while looking for clothes on Yesstyle.com. Enjoy:)

I wanna be like Francisco Lachowski

I never really had a dream of becoming a model growing up, because I have bigger plans in my life (like finishing college) and besides I know that I don't have what it takes to be one. Even though I don't have a chance to be a model, I pretend to be one in my own room when I try on my clothes in front of a mirror.
The male model I've looked up to for quite a while now, is Francisco Lachowski. Everyone has a person in mind that they wish they could be like and/or look like. Francisco is that person to me. I enjoy watching his projects because I can somewhat relate to him. Relate to him in a way that he also enjoys fashion, he's only a year older than me and that he's also a hard worker. I didn't realize how stressful it could get to be model until I started watching what happens behind-the-scenes of modeling. I thought that modeling was the easiest job out there. For example, in one video Francisco had 3 fashion shows to walk for in one day. One show is already quite stressful but he did 3 in one day. I have great respect for this dude because he's not only hard working but he also inspires me to work harder to achieve my goals in my life just as he worked hard to be where he is right now.
